Soho Lanikai won the Victoria Premiere Stakes at Melton by a margin of 65 meters at a 1:54 rate in his first and only start. The debut performance could only be described as something that "had to be seen to be believed". This time stands as the second ever fasted time recorded by a 2-year old at Melton.
